FAQ

Common questions

Straightforward answers about how the process works, what's included, and what to expect.

What does "fully funded" actually mean?

A fully funded program covers your tuition and provides a living stipend, so you aren't paying out of pocket for your studies. Funding can come from the university itself, a government scholarship, or a research/teaching assistantship. We help you understand which type of funding fits each program you apply to, rather than assuming all "funded" offers work the same way.

How is this different from a typical study-abroad consultancy?

You work directly and individually with your adviser throughout the process, rather than being run through a templated, high-volume pipeline. Your shortlist, essays, and outreach strategy are built around your specific profile and goals.

What is a Statement of Purpose (SOP)?

An SOP is a written statement, usually one to two pages, explaining your academic background, your motivation for the program, and your future goals. Most graduate programs require one, and admissions committees weigh it heavily. We provide guidelines, samples, and review to help you write a strong one.

What is professor or supervisor outreach?

For research-based programs (especially PhDs and some funded Master's), reaching out to a potential supervisor before or during your application can meaningfully improve your chances. We help you identify the right professors for your interests and guide you on how to approach that outreach professionally.

How long does the process usually take?

Timelines vary by destination, program type, and intake cycle. Application cycles for many funded programs open six to twelve months before the intake, so starting early gives you the most options. We'll map out a realistic timeline together based on your target intake.

Can you guarantee admission or a scholarship?

No legitimate adviser can guarantee admission or funding outcomes — these decisions are made by universities and funding bodies, not by us. What we do guarantee is a structured, well-researched, individually guided process designed to put you in the strongest possible position.

What happens in the free initial consultation?

We'll review your academic background and goals over a Zoom call, talk through realistic destination and program options, and outline what working together would look like going forward.
